Mission

The mission of this organization is to operate on a non-profit basis while providing volunteer assistance to Virginia's Department of Conservation and Recreation for the continued preservation and conservation of York River State Park . This is accomplished by supplying funds, materials and/or labor for park projects, as well as providing education to the community about their park.

News
March 3, 2007, York River State Park will have it's first adventure race. Please contact the park to volunteer for this running, biking, and canoeing orienteering style race.

Trail re-routing work will be held March 26 - April 6 2007. Please contact the park to volunteer to assist the DCR trail gurus with a spiffy trail building machine.

Major work will be done on the boat ramps at Croaker Landing. We have many new hammers to replace many old boards, we just need arms to swing them!

Harvest Moon Dinner Dance September 9th 2006 7-10:30pm. Music by the Williamsburg Classic Swing Orchestra, Food by The Williamsburg Catering Company.

We have the pleasure of welcoming Russell Johnson back to the park as our Park Manager. He was here in the early 90's and comes to us  from Leesylvania State Park near Quantico.
